Strange Weather, Isn't It offers up more of the same high-quality, insidious, slowly evolving grooves that have made this band such a fan favorite on the festival circuit over the last half-dozen years.
It's not quite as good as 2007's Myth Takes - a touch chiller, a touch less dynamic, and the relatively soft mid-section really brings Nic Offer's Joe Strummer-like vocal limitations to light (when the grooves back off and his voice is asked to carry a passage, the results can be lacking) - but if not Myth Takes equal, it's still a worthy companion, with very strong bookends.
Other than that, there's really not much to say.
If you like !!!, or your just a big fan of dance rock in general, you'll find Strange Weather, Isn't It an engaging and worthwhile listen.
